Military Veterans

The University of Alaska Southeast (UAS) has campuses in Juneau, Ketchikan, and Sitka. We pride ourselves on offering programs of high academic quality - both on campus and online - that meet the needs of our student Veterans and active-duty service members. Students pay resident tuition and receive credit for military training and national proficiency exams. UAS offers programs of distinction in teacher education and educational leadership, biology and marine biology, environmental science, liberal arts, business and public administration, health information management, mine training, and fisheries technology, among others. UAS programs take full advantage of the majesty of Southeast Alaska where students have opportunities for field study and research. UAS is dedicated to providing high quality and comprehensive support to military and Veteran students and their families.

Military Spouses

At the University of Alaska Southeast, military spouses and dependents receive personal attention from advisors, faculty, and support staff who want to help students succeed in reaching their academic and career goals. We pride ourselves on offering programs of high academic quality - both on campus and online - that meet the needs of dependents/spouses of Veterans and active-duty service members. UAS is also dedicated to providing academic support to spouses and dependents of Veterans and active-duty service members.
