What We Offer
Military Veterans
SIUE is located within 30 minutes of Scott Air Force Base. Due to this proximity and the proximity of Reserve and National Guard locations SIUE has a long history of serving military service members and veterans. SIUE offers easy access to professional and cultural opportunities in Metropolitan St. Louis, located just 25 minutes from the campus. SIUE offers the Military and Veteran Resource Center for the military-connected. The office is centrally located and provides bene t assistance, television, computers, free printing, coffee, games, social lounge, and a television.
Military Spouses
Dependents and Spouses at SIUE are treated with the same level of customer services as our military students. These students have access to all offerings of the Military and Veteran Resource Center. They are also included in all communication on activities provided by the university for the military-connected. The SIUE Chapter of Student Veterans of America is welcoming of all spouses and dependents.
