School of Visual Arts has been a leader in the education of artists, designers and creative professionals for more than seven decades. Why you should attend?

Founded by a WWII veteran, SVA has served veterans studying under the G.I. Bill since its inception in 1947 and is proud of its Military Friendly School distinction. The College participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program and provides advisement, counseling, financial aid, scheduling flexibility and activities for military members. With 11 undergraduate and 20 graduate degree programs, a renowned faculty, an international alumni community, and a New York City location, SVA offers a multitude of opportunities for individuals looking to pursue creative careers.

A program that prepares individuals to apply technical skills and advanced computer software and hardware to the creation of graphic representations and simulations in support of engineering projects. Includes instruction in engineering graphics, two-dimensional and three-dimensional engineering design, solids modeling, engineering animation, computer-aided drafting (CAD), computer-aided design (CADD), and auto-CAD techniques.
