Why you should attend?

Phoenix Truck Driving School at Fort Bliss is an Army Career Skills Program located on Fort Bliss specializing in the seamless reintegration of transitioning Servicemembers and Veterans . We train-transition-reintegrate Servicemembers that are within 180 days of transitioning out of the Military into their new Civilian Careers Nationwide. Servicemembers participate in our Career Skills Program while getting paid on Active Duty. Veterans are allowed to participate in the Career Skills Program. All Servicemembers and Veterans are pre-screened and Pre-hired so when they graduate after their 4 weeks of training they can go straight to work.

A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to drive trucks and buses, delivery vehicles, for-hire vehicles and other commercial vehicles, or to instruct commerical vehicle operators. Includes instruction in operating gas, diesel, or electrically-powered vehicles; loading and unloading cargo or passengers; reporting delays or accidents on the road; verifying load against shipping papers; arranging transportation for personnel; and keeping records of receipts and fares.
