Perry Technical Institute is a private, nonprofit technical school in Yakima, Washington. In 1939, Harriet Perry founded the school as a memorial to her husband, John Perry. Perry Tech has trained students of all ages and walks of life for careers that offer family-supportable wages, benefits, and chances for advancement. Why you should attend?

Perry Technical is ideal for veterans because we provide clear and consistent policies, procedures, and expectations of performance. Staff and faculty are trained to understand the culture of military and veteran men and women. Our staff coordinates with veteran services, helping veterans transition into the civilian workforce. The hands-on training programs at Perry Tech align with skills needed in various fields of study. Perry sponsors the Veterans Alliance meetings- which are open to veterans, dependents and those who want to support veterans. The Veterans Alliance mission is to honor active duty military and veterans though community service, camaraderie, and support.

A program that prepares individuals to operate specialized farm, ranch, and agribusiness power equipment of a stationary, mobile, and/or hand-operated nature. Includes instruction in operating specialized equipment such as terrestrial and airborne crop-spraying equipment; tractors and hauling equipment; planting and harvesting equipment; cutting equipment; power sources and systems for silos, irrigation, pumping, and applications such as dairy, feeding and shearing operations; processing equipment; and applicable electrical, mechanical, and safety principles.
