Ocean County College

Ocean County College is a two-year community college located in Toms River, NJ. Our beautiful campus features state of the art facilities embraced by 275 acres of rising wooded land only miles away from the scenic white sandy beaches of the Jersey Shore. Our well qualified, caring faculty and staff promote academic excellence in 28 academic programs/program options and 19 certificate programs. Our comprehensive student focused educational programs will transfer to most four-year institutions. OCC is accredited by the Commission on New Jersey Higher Education, and Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Our campus provides a state of the art Veteran and Military affiliated facility with private lounges, offices, and staff to assist through out the academic year.

Why you should attend?

Ocean County is home to the largest veteran's population in the State of New Jersey and largest population per-capita in the county. Ocean College (OCC) has a dedicated Veteran and Military Resource Center that includes a lounge, computer lab, and pantry. Tutorial services, social needs, and gaming capabilities are all available within the V.M.R.C. OCC has a designated Veteran Coordinator that assembles dozens of Veteran events through out the year, is the Community College Chapter Adviser to the Student Veterans of American organization. OCC also provides specific support with a specified Academic and Financial advisor to cater to any specific needs. OCC also has an on-site Veterans Transition Care Manager from Veteran Affairs to assist with any benefits, health care appointments and more.
