Why you should attend?

Northeast State has made great strides to ensure that servicemembers and veterans feel welcome and comfortable as they transition from the military. We signed President Obama's 8 Keys to Veterans Success initiative and have met all 8 keys. Some services include: three Vet Centers spread out among campuses, dedicated student advisor, veterans-specific orientation sessions, professional development for faculty and staff, and a one-stop-shop for veterans by our Veteran and Military Student Success Center staff. Additionally, we have had a Student Veterans of America (SVA) Chapter for over five years. We have been certified as a VETS (Veterans Education Transition Support) campus by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission.
