Mount Wachusett Community College

Mount Wachusett Community College is an accredited, public institution serving 29 cities and towns in North Central Massachusetts with campuses in Gardner, Leominster, Fitchburg and Devens. MWCC offers over 70 associate degree and certificate programs, including nursing and allied health, criminal justice, fire science, biotechnology, advanced manufacturing, media arts, and business. Nationally recognized for service learning and civic engagement, MWCC is also a nationally recognized green college, with power generated by wind turbines, solar, and biomass heating. A new $42 million science and technology building opened in 2016. Amenities include a full fitness center, a new student center and a vibrant community theater.

Why you should attend?

Mount Wachusett Community College is proud of its reputation as a military friendly school. It has a dedicated veteran center, with eight desktop computers and free printing, where students can meet, study, or have coffee with other like-minded individuals. Veteran Services loans available textbooks and laptops at no charge. The Director of Veteran Services is a full-time advocate for veteran students. He educates the college staff and faculty on veteran challenges, counsels students and arranges for clinical meetings if necessary. VA Transition Care Management provides weekly on-campus visits. Telehealth services are also available.
