Mount Wachusett Community College

Mount Wachusett Community College is an accredited, public institution serving 29 cities and towns in North Central Massachusetts with campuses in Gardner, Leominster, Fitchburg and Devens. MWCC offers over 70 associate degree and certificate programs, including nursing and allied health, criminal justice, fire science, EMT, veterinary technician, media arts, and business. Nationally recognized for service learning and civic engagement, MWCC is also a nationally recognized green college, with power generated by wind turbines, solar, and biomass heating. A new $42 million science and technology building opened in 2016. Amenities include a full fitness center and a vibrant community theater.

Why you should attend?

Mount Wachusett Community College has a dedicated veteran center where students can meet, study, or have coffee with other like-minded individuals. This center is equipped with eight desktop computers and free printing. The veteran textbook exchange loans available books at no charge. The Director of Veteran Services serves as an advocate for veteran students at MWCC. He trains faculty, advisors and other staff to work with the unique needs of this population. He often acts as the initial contact, referring students to internal or external resources for academic, personal, financial or psychological concerns.
