Why you should attend?

Mississippi State continues to rank at the top of military veterans friendly universities and achieved a Top 5 university for 2019/2020. We have a 7500 square foot veteran center complete with a computer lab, individual study rooms, lounge with kitchenette, multi-purpose room and an outdoor space. We not only focus on the veteran but the entire military family making sure that we assist all veterans, servicemembers and dependents if they are using GI Bill benefits or not. We service over 3,000 students (about 14% of the student population) and we offer a 100% waiver of Out of State Tuition for military, veterans and dependents. In addition, this past year, we awarded nearly $80,000 in scholarships. Our waiver is better than the Yellow Ribbon Program.
