Madison Area Technical College is a world-class community college in Madison, Wisconsin. For more than 100 years, We offer educational opportunities to a wide variety of students with varying educational needs. Students can earn an associate degree, Technical Diploma or a certification in over 150 programs. Nearly half go onto earn an advanced degree through the Liberal Arts Transfer program. Madison Area Technical College helps students with job placement through established partnerships with the business community. An impressive 93 percent of graduates find jobs within six months. Veteran Resource Services provides support to all military affiliated students.

Why you should attend?

Madison Area Technical College has developed a Veteran Resource Services team dedicated to helping military connected students succeed. The team consists of a Veteran Support Coordinator, Veteran Support Advisor, VA hospital VITAL Social Worker, Academic Success Coaches, and Veteran Student Workers. Dedicated space is available for academic services, resources, networking and support. This space consists of a study area with three computer stations and printer, lounge area with microwave, refrigerator, coffee, and office space for advising, benefits and support. Military Connected students and Veterans are fully supported from prospective student to graduation/transfer and are offered various resources through Military Resource Fairs and Veterans appreciation and additional events on and off-campus.
