Lehigh Carbon Community College

Founded in 1966, Lehigh Carbon Community College serves nearly 10,000 students from Lehigh, Carbon, Schuylkill and surrounding counties offering more than 90 programs of study including healthcare, information technology, criminal justice, education and business administration. From the main campus in Schnecksville and modern sites in Allentown, Tamaqua, Baum School of Art and Lehigh Valley International Airport, Lehigh Carbon offers two-year associate degrees, ceritifcate and specialized diploma programs, and workforce training for students studying either full-time, part-time or online.

LCCC fosters a supportive atmosphere for veterans, offering many services and resources dedicated to the achievement of their professional goals. Valuable systems are available for veterans including a dedicated Veteran Services Director, Certifying Official, veteran's lounges, veterans organizations, special veteran programming and events, supportive resources including counselling and advising services along with resources to address financial hardships and a full range of career services in preparation of military members entrance into one of numerous fields for skilled trades or professions through our accredited programs. A team of knowledgeable faculty and staff assist our veteran students from the application process to preparing for graduation. During their study, they have access to professors who actively contribute to their success.

Includes instruction in site safety, personnel supervision, labor relations, diversity training, construction documentation, scheduling, resource and cost control, bid strategies, rework prevention, construction insurance and bonding, accident management and investigation, applicable law and regulations, and communication skills.
