Kean University established The Center for Veterans Student Success beginning Fall 2021. The mission behind the center is to offer comprehensive transition services to all Veterans, Service Members, and Dependents. Kean is committed to its veterans, et all by providing a large Center to include a Veterans Resource Lounge. We adhere to a single service model taking the veteran from admissions all the way to graduation. This is accomplished by dedicated staff members who follow you though your entire academic career. This includes recruiting, admissions, testing, registration, student accounting, financial aid, VA and Military benefit counseling, certifications, priority registration, in depth degree advising. This is just a minor part as we offer three VSO's, VCO's, VA VITAL, VETS Center, OT/PT support all on campus. A veteran does not have to leave campus. On site mental health counselors, access to staff 24/7. We believe you need to be accessible to veterans all the time as things have changed in a Post Covid World.
