Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC) is a public, urban, open-door, and comprehensive community college committed to excellence in higher education. KCKCC’s mission is to provide higher education and lifelong learning to the varied communities, primarily in its service area of Wyandotte and Leavenworth counties. KCKCC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a commission of the North Central Association and the Kansas Board of Regents. Certain programs are accredited by professional organizations. The college is approved by the Veterans Administration for veterans college training. KCKCC is a member of Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges and of the SOCAD Degree Network System.

Why you should attend?

Kansas City Kansas Community College opened it's Veteran Center in 2018 and the Staff has a complete understanding of the academic needs of military affiliated students. KCKCC is a long-time member of Service Members Opportunity Colleges and is a GoArmyEd LOI college. Also, KCKCC is a partner institution in KC-BANCS, a program to attract veterans into STEM education and careers funded by the National Science Foundation administered by UMKC. KCKCC is pleased to be partnered with the Academic Institutions for Military Students (AIMS) that provides a network of colleges and universities to support military affiliated students in transitioning between institutions of higher learning
