Suffolk has an expanding veteran community, currently with 69 former/active military members. One of the ways that Suffolk remains dedicated to supporting veteran members is the Veteran’s Business Resource Group which was created specifically to provide a platform on awareness of Suffolk veterans and allies through employee education, engagement activities, community outreach, and recruitment. Additionally, the Wellthy’s Veteran Support benefit was added in 2022 designed to help heroes and their families get the care they deserve through navigating difficult logistical and administrative tasks on their behalf, such as medical, financial, housing, legal, and social/emotional well-being resources.
