In 2018, Methodist placed second in Diversity Inc.'s Top Hospitals and Health Systems in recognition of our programs promoting diversity and inclusion. Career development is a high priority and Methodist invests more than $2 million annually to fund tuition reimbursement, career pathways, coaching, counseling, and exploration. Methodist partners with the local community college to allow employees, volunteers, and family members to obtain a nursing degree at no cost to admitted applicants. Methodist offers an Emerging Leaders program for high-performing employees to move into leadership roles and the ELEVATE leadership development program for front-line managers preparing for more dynamic leadership roles.
