Green River College

Green River College is a public Washington State community college founded in 1965. GRC enrolls approximately 19,000 students each year. About 500 students receive Veterans Administration benefits earned by the military service. an undetermined number of additional GRC students have not registered for VA benefits, but have served in the military or are the immediate relatives of veterans. GRC’s service are of southeast King County is designated by the Washington State Legislature. Over 50% of GRC’s student veterans commute from elsewhere in King County or adjacent counties. There counties are home to almost three million people and 1 in 10 are veterans.

GRC has a signed valid Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Defense, rendering its student eligible for Military Tuition Assistance. GRC is registered a U.S. Department of Education 8 keys to Veteran Student Success' partner site. GRC's service to student veterans are provided by an well-staffed, independent-office, which includes a Veterans Administration-qualified School Certifying Official.
