Golden Gate University

GGU has a rich history of serving the military population, starting with programs provided to returning veterans of World War I and peaking in the 1980s, when GGU reached service members across the United States, educating numerous military astronauts and leaders, including a future Chief of Staff of the Air Force and Vice Chief of Staff of the Army. Today, military-connected students make up almost a third of GGU's student population. Veterans, Reservists, active duty and National Guardsmen, and their spouses, are finding a natural fit with GGU.
