Georgia Military College

The mission of Georgia Military College (GMC) is to produce educated citizens and contributing members of society in an environment conducive to the development of the intellect and character of its students, regardless of location or method of delivery, College students are offered a liberal arts-based, two-year undergraduate curriculum designed to support student attainment of an associate degree and prepare students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Students with an associate of applied science degree are offered a curriculum designed to support student attainment of a Bachelor of Applied Science degree.

Why you should attend?

Georgia Military College is one of only four United States Military Junior Colleges. LTG William B. Caldwell, IV, President of GMC is retired from the U.S. Army, and many of the administration staff, and faculty members have served in the military. GMC prides in working with veterans and military personnel to assist them with completing a college degree. Many of our campuses are situated next to or are on military bases in Georgia, and these campuses have trained staff to assist military and veteran students along with their spouses and dependents

A program that prepares individuals to practice the profession of accounting and to perform related business functions. Includes instruction in accounting principles and theory, financial accounting, managerial accounting, cost accounting, budget control, tax accounting, legal aspects of accounting, auditing, reporting procedures, statement analysis, planning and consulting, business information systems, accounting research methods, professional standards and ethics, and applications to specific for-profit, public, and non-profit organizations.
