Central Carolina Technical College

Central Carolina Technical College is a comprehensive, public, two-year institution of higher education that is dedicated to fostering a positive environment of teaching and learning for faculty, staff, and students. The College serves primarily the region of Clarendon, Lee, Kershaw, and Sumter counties in South Carolina and confers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Central Carolina students have a wide array of programs and services from which to choose. Why you should attend?

Central Carolina Technical College has a long, proud history of providing high quality, affordable education to military members and veterans. We have an office on Shaw AFB to assist our military-affiliated students with making their academic goals a reality. Classes are offered in a variety of formats to allow greater academic flexibility for unpredictable military schedules. Ample financial aid resources are available to active duty military and veterans enrolled at CCTC. Active duty military and family members are afforded in-state tuition status per SC law. CCTC also has a Veterans Resource Center and a Veterans Upward Bound program that provide additional support to military-affiliated students.

A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and maintain all types of automobiles. Includes instruction in brake systems, electrical systems, engine performance, engine repair, suspension and steering, automatic and manual transmissions and drive trains, and heating and air condition systems.
