Why you should attend?

Assumption University is a Veterans Administration-designated "Yellow Ribbon School" that strives to form graduates known for critical intelligence, thoughtful citizenship and compassionate service, principles congruent with the brave women and men who have selflessly served our country with honor and bravery as a member of the Armed Forces. The Veterans Success Committee works closely with Veterans and military service members to ensure that they experience success transitioning to, and working their way through, the University. Assumption University waives all application fees for Veterans, one of many efforts to share our gratitude. A dedicated Veterans Lounge is available. We include all of our Veterans-related events and activities on the University's website for all to see and review. We have special events during Veterans Day. This year, November 11, 2023, retired Major General Robert Catalanotti (alum and University Trustee) and Vietnam Veteran Mike Rubino (Chair of the Veterans Success Committee) gave a presentation at a University football game at half-time to the crowd in the stands about patriotism and the sacrifice that all Veterans make to keep our country free. The presentation was very well received by the crowd.
