Why you should attend?

Appalachian State University’s faculty and staff are committed to the success of student veterans. This dedication begins during students’ transition from service to education and lasts through graduation and into the workforce. Student Veteran Services and the Major General Edward M. Reeder Jr. Student Veteran Resource Center provide comprehensive support, programming, and outreach services for military affiliated students. The university also has a strong Student Veterans Association and offers in-state tuition without residency requirements for some service members, veterans, and military-affiliated students.
