Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College

ABAC opened in 1908 as the Second District Agricultural and Mechanical School. Since that time the basic mission has been to engage, teach, coach, mentor, and provide relevant experiences that prepare graduates for life. Upon joining the University System of Georgia in 1933, the name was changed to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Our curriculum includes Agriculture, Natural Resources, Liberal Arts, Human Sciences, Science and Mathematics, Nursing, Health Sciences, and Business. The campus features a Veteran Success Center, a golf course, a demonstration farm, and the Georgia Museum of Agriculture. ABAC has been named Military Friendly and a Best Value Institution.
