The Tennessee College of Applied Technology – Dickson (TCAT Dickson) is one of 27 technical colleges across the state serving the citizens of Tennessee. The College is a public, post-secondary institution providing full-time and part-time programs awarding diplomas and certificates. TCAT Dickson offers 14 full-time programs of study. The training offered by TCAT Dickson is primarily competency-based instruction. TCAT Dickson has an over 50-year history of providing quality education and to fulfill its mission of Tennessee workforce development to the communities served.

Tennessee College of Applied Technology is an excellent choice for military members because we have a large veteran student population especially at our Clarksville Campus location. The college offers training in 14 technical fields that prepare veterans for high skill, high demand, and high wage jobs. Financial aid officer and team members are trained well to serve the financial aid needs of veterans as are Student Services staff in meeting other needs of veterans. The college has representatives on the Tennessee Veteran Education Academy.
