Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®), Ohio’s first community college, opened in September 1963. For 60 years, Tri-C has provided affordable, accessible higher education and lifelong learning opportunities to more than 1 million community members. Tri-C offers more than 1,000 credit courses each semester in over 200 career and technical programs. In addition, Tri-C offers more than 600 noncredit workforce and professional development courses each year. Tri-C serves over 41,000 credit and non-credit students annually with day, evening, and weekend classes. Tri-C also offers a wide variety of online and blended degree and certificate programs.

For 60 years, Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) has provided over 32,000 veterans with access to affordable education and workforce training programs, allowing them to transition from military to civilian life. Through the College's Veteran and Military Connected Services, Tri-C continues its commitment to veterans and their families, customizing support services to serve those who have served. The College's West Campus was built on the site of Cleveland's original VA Hospital, a fact recognized in the College's Veterans' Memorial Garden.
