Why you should attend?

Blue Ridge Community College recognizes the transition from serving in the military to civilian life can be daunting. Therefore, the college takes a holistic approach to serving veterans as they transition to college. One-on-one service is offered to help navigate the on-boarding process including a dedicated staff member to assist with VA educational benefits. Assistance completing the FAFSA and scholarship opportunities designated specifically for veterans and their family members help reduce financial barriers not covered by the GI Bill. Additional support can be found through the student-led Veterans Club, the college’s Green Zone program, and our mentoring programs. Lastly, the NC Works Center has a dedicated Veterans Career Advisor.
