Penske respects and celebrates the service of its veterans and its active-duty associates and has received numerous awards from ESGR in recognition of its support. Penske actively recruits veterans and transitioning service members: truck drivers, truck technicians, maintenance service managers, transportation and distribution managers, sales, and management trainees. In recent years, Penske established a CDL driver apprentice program and a military leader fellowship program to assist veteran new hires. Penske provides active military and veterans discounts on its rental trucks and provides a dedicated 800 number to support military families on the move.
